Sprout Content Operations

Privacy Policy

This policy explains the information Sprout Content Operations handles when an authorized user connects an account and uses the workspace.

Information We Collect

When a user connects a TikTok account, we may receive information authorized through TikTok’s official authorization process. Depending on the permissions granted, this may include an account identifier, display name, profile image, public video information, follower count, following count, likes count, video count, and public video engagement metrics.

No Password Collection

We do not request or store TikTok account passwords.

How We Use Information

We use connected account information to display account identity, retrieve authorized public videos, provide content analytics, maintain historical metric snapshots, publish content approved by an authorized user, and display publishing status.

Authorization Tokens

Access tokens and refresh tokens are encrypted before storage and are used only to provide the account connection, data retrieval, and publishing functions requested by authorized users.

Data Retention

We retain connected account information while the account remains connected or while it is required to provide the service. Historical analytics data may be retained according to the organization’s configured retention period.

Data Deletion

Users may disconnect an account and request deletion of imported account data. Disconnecting prevents future access using the stored authorization.

Third-Party Platforms

Use of TikTok features is also subject to TikTok’s own terms, privacy policies, and platform rules.

Contact and Account Controls

Authorized users may disconnect an account or request deletion from the workspace. The public Data Deletion page explains both controls and the information removed.
